I hand-stitched each weft onto a custom U-part cap that I created. I chose this method to make my application process easier [on] the day of our shoot."

"Shoot day, I prepped Zendaya's hair by leaving out her natural hairline and center part to ensure full coverage of the extensions. I then added a few cornrows for a flat foundation. Then, I stitched the extension U-part to Zendaya's cornrows for added hold and security. Next, I blended Z's natural hair with the extensions and added a few soft layers throughout to create shape and movement. Lastly, we gave the freshly applied hair a few shakes, and we were all set."
